After the success of last year’s meeting, held in Cork (Ireland) and hosted by the University College Cork, this year’s edition took place in Tarragona (Spain) and was hosted by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
At this meeting, the OBREAL Global secretariat, under the leadership of Elizabeth Colucci, Director of International Projects, shared the association’s strategic plan until 2025 and went over the projects and initiatives in which OBREAL Global is involved.

Several case studies were also presented, such as the Mimir Andino project, introduced by Alfonso Marzal from the Universidad de Extremadura, the HERE SA project, presented by Maria Salomaa from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, the Vita Global project, presented by Joan Miquel Canals from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and finally Hanif Mohammed shared the experience of the Asian Insitute of Design and the Chapter India of OBREAL Global.
In the afternoon session, Elizabeth Colucci and Eloi Espósito presented to the European members and partners the recently created OBREAL Training Platform, a new online training tool, hosted on the OBREAL Global website and where an online course of the HAQAA initiative is already running.
The last part of the meeting was dedicated to explain the opportunities presented by the Erasmus + calls, among other calls. This session was led by the financial director of OBREAL Global, Agustina Calabrese and the project manager, Angel Manuel Rafael.
