This webinar is the fist session of the Interregional Dialogue series “Women, Innovation and Science: Challenges and Opportunities from a Multi-Regional Perspective”. 

The webinar will assess the main challenges and opportunities for women leadership in innovation, based on successful case-studies. Each panelist will address lessons learned, results achieved and options for up-grading and for inter-regional application.

About this interregional dialogue series

This edition of the OBREAL Global Interregional Dialogue series is entitled “Women, Innovation and Science: Challenges and Opportunities from a Multi-Regional Perspective.

This webinar series aims to promote dialogue and engage key stakeholders in assessing challenges and identifying opportunities for innovation and research in and driven by universities, with a special focus on women, their leadership, contribution and empowerment in these processes.

It is aimed at interregional and multi-stakeholders from Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and India, particularly women from the academic, government and private sectors.

The series will be conducted virtually and will consist of bi-monthly webinars between April and October 2023. Discussions and debates will focus on common challenges, success stories and solutions. Each webinar will last 1h15. Interpretation will be provided in Spanish, English and French.
